Sudoku
Place 1–9 so each row, column, and box contains every number once.
Tutorial: Sudoku
How to Play:
- The goal is to fill every empty cell with a number from 1–9.
- Each row must contain the numbers 1–9 exactly once.
- Each column must contain the numbers 1–9 exactly once.
- Each 3×3 box (shown by thicker lines) must contain the numbers 1–9 exactly once.
- Tap an empty cell to select it.
- Choose a number from the keypad that doesn't already appear in that row, column, or box.
- Use logic and elimination to narrow down possibilities.
- When a cell can only be one number, that's a 'naked single'—place it!
- Complete the entire grid to win.
Pro Tips:
- Start with rows, columns, or boxes that already have 6+ numbers.
- Look for numbers that can only go in one place within a box.
- Cross-reference: if a number is blocked in a row at certain positions, it must go elsewhere.
- Check the same number across different boxes—they might eliminate each other.
