Solitaire

The classic card game. Stack all 52 cards into four piles by suit, Ace to King.

Tutorial: Solitaire

How to Play:

  1. Sort all 52 cards into four foundation piles by suit, from Ace up to King.
  2. Cards are dealt into seven columns. Face-down cards flip over as you uncover them.
  3. In the columns, stack cards in descending order with alternating colors (red on black, black on red).
  4. You can move a single card or a properly sequenced stack to another column.
  5. Aces go to the foundations first, then build up in suit order (A, 2, 3 … K).
  6. Draw from the stock pile when you're stuck.
  7. You win when all cards are in the foundations.

Pro Tips:

  • Flip face-down cards as soon as you can — they often unlock key moves.
  • Emptying a column gives you a free space, which is very useful for rearranging.
  • Move low cards to the foundations early to get them out of the way.
  • Don't bury high cards under low ones unless you have a plan.
