Tutorial: Shikaku
How to Play:
- Cover every cell on the board with a rectangle — no gaps, no overlaps.
- Each rectangle must contain exactly one number.
- That number tells you how many cells the rectangle covers (e.g., 6 means a 2×3, 3×2, 1×6, or 6×1 rectangle).
- Tap and drag to draw a rectangle around a number.
- A 1 is always a single cell — place those first.
- The puzzle is complete when every cell belongs to exactly one rectangle.
Pro Tips:
- Numbers near edges or corners have fewer possible shapes — start there.
- Large numbers have limited arrangements, especially near borders.
- As you place rectangles, the remaining space often forces the answer for nearby numbers.
