Tutorial: Nonogram
How to Play:
- Each row and column has number clues indicating consecutive runs of filled cells.
- For example, '3 1' means three filled cells, then a gap, then one filled cell.
- A clue of '5' in a 5-cell row means all cells are filled. A clue of '0' means all are empty.
- Tap a cell to mark it filled (■). Tap again to mark it empty (×). Tap again to clear the mark.
- Use the toolbar to switch between Fill, Cross (mark empty), and Erase modes.
- When all cells are correctly marked, the puzzle is complete and reveals a picture.
Pro Tips:
- Start with rows or columns that have large numbers or are nearly full.
- A clue that fills most of the line can be partially solved — mark the cells that must be filled regardless of position.
- Work back and forth between rows and columns — solving one helps narrow down the other.
- When a line has only one possible arrangement, fill it in completely.
